so, maybe it wasn't sea sickness on the boat??? who knows? i feel like we've been on and off illnesses a lot lately. aiden was fine the next couple days, but then had a fever and was kinda lethargic in the late morning. he ended up taking two really long naps (he never naps anymore). we knew he wasn't well, dan had got the night off from work and we had planned to do tons of fun stuff all day and go to our friend's BBQ in the evening... plans change pretty fast when your kid is sick. bummer. at least dan had plenty of time to get some school work done!!!

After aiden's second nap he started to feel better.
We ended up doing sparklers and those fountain fireworks at home... it was still a lot of fun! Dan is so fun and always makes it cool for the kids! After it got dark we rode our bikes down to a spot where we could see the fireworks. The boys were really tired, but aiden really wanted to see the fireworks in the sky!!!

I see you've done quite a bit of updating...good job :) I love the bit about the suckers. I was so anal with Tyson and now I pretty much don't care with Logan...poor guy. Looks like you had a fun boating trip. You ought to come with us some time! In fact, if you're not doing anything tomorrow, we're going.
I love this country, too,and all the beauty that surrounds us. Especially our beautiful loving family and the freedoms we can enjoy together. God bless us and this great country!
